Steps to follow to graduate:
- Ask a professor to be your supervisor. The discipline they teach must be included in your study plan, as it will frame your thesis.
- Fill in the thesis request form with the professor’s signature and the thesis title (please see the file below); then email it to didattica.scipog@unime.it and agiaimo@unime.it. This must be done 6 months before the graduation date for Master’s degrees.
- Once your thesis is completed and approved by your professor, log in to your Esse3 portal. The online application opens 40 days before the graduation date and closes 7 working days before the ceremony. You can upload and edit the required documents at any time between the opening date and the deadline (see the guidelines below).
Please upload:
- A valid ID document;
- The title page (signed by your professor) (please see the file below);
- The final version of the thesis;
- The plagiarism check report (for the video tutorial click here);
- Send an abstract of your thesis (maximum 2 pages) by email to agiaimo@unime.it at least 3 days before your graduation date.
- Prepare a short English presentation about your thesis to deliver at your graduation defence.
- Printed copies are optional, but you can have one printed for yourself and, if requested, for the supervisor.
For the drafting of the thesis, the use of word processing software that allows for the proper management of text formatting, citations, and bibliographies (such as Microsoft Word, LibreOffice Writer, or equivalent software) is highly recommended.
